  ITINERARY
  • DAY 1: MADRID Arrive in Madrid and transfer from the airport to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day discovering the Spanish capital at your leisure. Hotel: St Domingo or similar (4*S)
  • DAY 2: MADRID After breakfast, make your own way to the starting point for a morning city sightseeing tour of Madrid driving through the main avenues of the city, highlights include the magnificent fountains of Neptune and Cibeles, the Alcala Gate, the Plaza de España, where we will see panoramically the view of most representative buildings. We will visit inside the spectacular Royal Palace which is still in use for Goverment ceremonies
  • DAY 3: MADRID  PAMPLONA After breakfast, make your way to Atocha Rail Station for the train to Pamplona. Enjoy the journey in Alvia Train traveling in three-an-a-half hours. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Hotel: NH Iruña Park or similar
  • DAY 4: PAMPLONA - BURGOS After breakfast, guided tour of Pamplona, you will see some of the most important spots of Pamplona, such as the City-Hall where the San Fermin festival starts each July 6th, or the beautiful St Cernin Parish. You will walk along some of the streets where the Running of the Bulls is held, and also some of the street that pilgrims to St Jacques (Santiago de Compostela) have visited for over 1000 years. You will see the façade of the Cathedral of Pamplona, and the bulls do in their running, at the bullring. In the afternoon make your way to Pamplona Rail Station for the Alvia Train to Burgos, traveling in two-hours-fifteen. Hotel: Hotel Rice Palacio Blasones
  • DAY 5: BURGOS - LEON After breakfast, guided tour of Burgos. Burgos, a beautiful city in Castilla-Leon situated on the Pilgrim´s Road to Santiago de Compostela which still preserves important vestiges of its medieval splendour. Burgos, which was the capital of the unified kingdom of Castilla-Leon for five centuries, boasts a masterpiece of Spanish Gothic architecture: the cathedral of Burgos, declared World Heritage. In the afternoon make your way to Burgos Rail Station for the Alvia train to Leon, traveling in one-hour-fifty. Hotel: Alfonso V (4*S
  • DAY 6: 06 LEON - SANTIAGO After breakfast, guided tour of Leon. Leon is a city of incomparable beauty, closely linked to the Way of Saint James, a pilgrimage route to Santiago. It offers a variety of interesting sights, including the Santa Maria Cathedral with it´s remarkable stained glass windows, San Isidoro Basilica and the Hostal de San Marcos itself. The palace of the Guzman family, Botines House designed by Antoni Gaudi, San Marcelo Church, Santa Ana Church, the Plaza Mayor, and Roman walls are just a sample of the important sights to be discovered in Leon. In the afternoon make your way to Leon Rail Station for the Intercity train to Santiago, traveling in four-hours-fifty. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Hotel: Compostela (4*)
  • DAY 7: SANTIAGO After breakfast, guided tour of Santiago. Santiago is known as the finish point for the famous Camino de Santiago, or Pilgrims way. you will be guided through this UNESCO World Heritage listed city and follow in the footsteps of pilgrims, contemplating the Cathedral located in the wonderful Plaza del Obradoiro. Enjoy the rest of the day discovery the secrets of this marvellous city.
  • DAY 8: SANTIAGO After breakfast, guided tour of Santiago.
